CHANCEtoGIVE Foundation's free donation platform provides a new means for individuals, families, businesses and giving circles to make donations quickly and easily to any US registered 501(c)(3) organization. To assist donors that have not yet decided which charity to support and don’t have the time to research over half a million organizations, CHANCEtoGIVE Foundation provides a list of great charities compiled through extensive research using our Premier Charity Selection Process.

CHANCEtoGIVE Foundation complements the fundraising efforts of charitable organizations through our collection of innovative technology, creative marketing and extensive research. As a result, CHANCEtoGIVE Foundation is able to raise donations more cost effectively than a large percentage of charities.

Premier Charity Selection Process

CHANCEtoGIVE Foundation’s Premier Charity selection methodology has been designed to qualify well performing charities so that donors have a set of trusted charities from which to choose:

the organization must be tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
the organization’s focus must fall within one of the four cause categories: Children, Community & Family; Health & Wellness; Animals & Environment; or Worldwide Disaster Relief.
consideration of evaluations posted by charity ranking and reporting organizations, including (but not limited to) American Institute of Philanthropy, BBB Wise Giving Alliance, Charity Navigator, GiveWell, GreatNonprofits & Independent Charities of America. When appropriate, consideration of information supplied by a charitable organization using CHANCEtoGIVE Foundation’s Premier Charity Consideration Form.
independent research performed on the organization's cause, benefactors and efficiency.
collectively, the organizations listed must be diverse in size, location, territory and beneficiaries.
each cause category is limited to a maximum of 12 organizations.
our research results in recommendations from the Director of Charity Relations presented to the Charity Steering Committee for final approval.

Charity Payment Process

CHANCEtoGIVE Foundation’s affirmation is to distribute donations to charities as quickly and efficiently as possible. CHANCEtoGIVE Foundation distributes donations to the charities at month end following 30 days from when the donation is made*.

Payment Process
The manner in which we distribute funds allows for thirty (30) days from the date of purchase of a charity card or related service for a designation to be made for the contribution associated with that charity card. If no such designation is made, our organization directs the designation to the various charities selected by donor under the category of a particular card and divides the money equally to the charities in that category. Funds are distributed at month end following this thirty (30) day period*.

*If a charity’s total donations are less than one hundred dollars ($100) in any thirty (30) day period the donations will be transferred to the charity in the next thirty (30) day period. If a charity's donations remain less than one hundred dollars ($100) by year end the money will be sent to the charity after year end reconciliation, by end January.

Note: CHANCEtoGIVE Foundation’s mission is to make charitable donation easier, quicker and more cost effective and therefore strives to lower infrastructure and fundraising costs as the business grows. Our organization incurs marketing, technology and administration costs associated with all donations. It is our goal to implement the most efficient business processes and thereby reduce these costs over time. At the present time, these costs have been contained to 8% to ensure disbursements to charities of 92% of each donation.
